I also own Sonic and have for a while now, and I don't see it as anything more than a "good" game, definitely not a great one. The value is too low and the gameplay too shallow to make it anything better than that IMO. I don't really get all the hype, unless Sonic fans are a masochistic bunch who have come to expect utter garbage and actually pay for it on a regular basis.

Then again maybe I'm just not a big fan of this kind of game.
