A fascinating possibility, but that makes you wonder where Game Boy Advance and GameCube fit in all of that. The two of them both seemed to have a reasonably steady stream respectively. GBA got good enough attention throughout its life and the only reason GameCube support (within Nintendo, anyway) died off was because of DS and Wii
Whatever your stance on any of this may be, it should be agreed that Nintendo needs more development teams.
