Were the road dry? Outside temperature? How long have you had the car?
Spark plugs are under the (propably) black hats, which has 8-10mm thick wires (usually black or red rubber) going into them. I was thinking if the wires have gotten old and don't necessarily isolate anymore, if they get in touch with the metal parts (or wet, which connects them). Distributor may also start to be in a bad shape, and may get wet. But if it was dry when the other times happened, it's not about water. By the way, what octane gasoline do you use?
