Not bad. Could drive one. How old? Meaning it would give a clue what kind of tech does it have. If the check engine light doesn't light, the OBD may not give a clue what's wrong with it. Usually the alternator problems stops your car and don't light "check engine", but it's happened so few times and you get to drive short after, when the alternator problems most of the times doesn't let you start until you do something about them. In what conditions the problem have occurred?
