If it is not your fuel injector than it could possibly be (like it was for me since i drive a really old car) that the RPMs of your engine are too low to sustain combustion. I recommend going to a mechanic since you don't seem to know much about cars. But the way i fixed it i tightened the regulator to inject a little more fuel (my MPG did not suffer) into the engine to compensate and i have not had problems since then.

I'm gonna sound like a dick, but yes I know shit about how a car works (I know they need fuel, that's where it ends) RPM's you mean like the Rev gauge, how high is it supposed to be when say I am doing 110km's/h in 5th gear?

Out of the 5 times it shut down, 4 of them were at 5th gear, not during or near the gear shift, well after it out of no-where.
