Why do people read tabloid knowingly and then some taken it as facts?

I was referring to the fact that she calls the material 'rubbish', yet at the same time she says she agrees with it. In other words, she admits to agreein with rubbish.

It's truth through repitition. You acknowledge that it's false, but if you keep reading and hearing about it, you instinctively believe it.

She agreed with the views before she bought the paper - she was brought up right-wing; that's what I mean
