Kosovo is de-facto independent, and there is nothing wrong with recognizing the travel visas of an effectively independent polity, just like how most nations will at least recognize the rights of Taiwanese to wander around internationally with legal documents issued from Taipei. China keeps Taiwan out from recognition, Russia bars Kosovo, but Kosovo's already independent, and short of any action that Serbia knows they shouldn't do again (or they'll just have their infrastructure punitively destroyed again), Kosovo's not coming back |
Indeed. Kosovo gets its water & electricity from Serbia, food from Albania, protection from KFOR and UN, and political support from the west. A truly independent nation, huh? Im sorry to burts your buble but Kosovo is SELF PROCLAIMED nation, it is NOT PART of ANY international organization, not even UN itself. It wasnt recognized by 120 nations world wide (or more than 4.2 billion world population). As for Serbia's ''actions' the ONLY way we can regain Kosovo is by force. Kosovo force is a joke, containing only bit over 3.000 people compared to our force of over 50.000 soldiers, not to mention tens of thousands that will joing in Serb Voulenteer Guard. KFOR are weak and cowardly, they constantly get beatend and hurt by Serbs up north, and NATO intervention can simply be pervented by joining with them. They can not bomb their member nation.
And if Kosovo is independent nation, than so must be the Serb Republic in Bosnia, right? Whats to stop them from being independent just like Kosovo? Western bias and hatred for eastern countries that is.
