I think to a certain extent Outlaw and Blacksaber are right even though are opinions are valid nonetheless. It is that we haven't seen breadth of genres anime has to offer mainly deviating between only shonen, thriller and sport.
I think we need a general anime discussions thread to keep all this material in one place >.
