They should be more worried about the silent backlash of DS customers not buying the 3DS due to lack of software (now they've addressed the price issue).
Anyone who has bought a 3DS before now is a core Nintendo fan like myself, and probably has all or most of the games in the new program. I know I do, so the gesture means nothing to me. All I want is for the 3DS games I care about to be announced or released.
