just going with the numbers in the article.  500M of 4.6B would be  ~10.8% of his fortune.  he won't go hungry over this but a 10% change would be rather noticiable. 

I also find it interesting that he only owns 10% of Nintendo, so a $500 million drop is only a fraction of 10% of Nintendo's value
