I'm just wondering which Nintendo system you are referring to? Or which generation? Nintendo fans haven't been able to claim dominance in anything except hand helds. Are you talking about DS vs PSP? Even though the DS slaughtered the PSP, I still believe the PSP did fairly well when compared to any other hand held that tried to take on Nintendo. From what I remember from the previous generations was that Sony was going to slaughter Nintendo no matter what they did (I even remember Sony fans saying PSP was going to kill the DS). I don't remember the other way around. Hell, even when the Wii was still the Revolution it seemed like only a few of the Nintendo fans thought it had any chance. Unless you want to go all the way back to the N64/PS1 generation. That is the only time Nintendo fans were still confident that their home console system could be sales leader.
