no doubt Halo: Reach is a great game, but Heavy rain left much more of an impact on me, this game somewhat came out of left field( atleast for me) i bought it on a whim(mostly due to CGI's hype towards it and I always buy niche/odd genre games) and it blew me away, I was always super cautious when making even the slightest move/decision.
