That shipped gap has grown by the way... it was down to 2.9m in September 2010.  So it increased by 600k in less than a year.

i wonder why youre the only one posting here, doesnt anyone else find these numbers interesting or at least worth discussing.

so according to VGC xbox has .7m on shelves and PS3 has .5. do you reckon those numbers are accurate or do you think they might be over/under tracked for one or the other

my numbers are out of date as of about 1/2 hour ago.  adjustments have happend.  360 up 100k, PS3 down 100k, wii doww 800k.  So I'm afraid your charts and mine need updating.
