Add an "LOL" button to the forums... similar to FB's like or Google's +1

Better idea, people should be able to leave anonymous notes to your posts. Say, I read an interesting and informing post. I would attach a note to the post that reads "very interesting and informing" without causing any clutter.

Then when the author reads the post, he can see that his post was indeed interesting and informing. There could be another green button that reads "note". Outsiders should not be able to read these notes.

Of course, if someone says something nasty, they should be reported for it.
