Lastest GFK graphs show 360 and PS3 tied lifetime in Aus but PS3 selling more in the year (2010)... a new report will come out in January I guess.
I even create a thread about that.

He was answering about America taken as a whole, not just US, and comparing it with everywhere else taken as a whole. So not the most meaningful possible comparison, but not totally wrong either, although the most precise and least ambiguous and debatable comparison would have been USA+UK+Canada+Australia vs. everywhere else, but he admitted later he's very weak at Geography. He considered whole major markets as VGC groups them, anyway, so, writing on VGC forum, it was less ambiguous and debatable than if he did it in forums where this convention isn't used.
