im not saying there wont be a price cut (i fully expected one) but with the gears of war 3 and Star wars bundles with very high prices. it would seem very odd to have those prices, and then a prce cut for the others. those bundles would be a terrible deal.
im wondering if they think they can still sell very well at this price, and wont be worth it to cut price, and just maximize profit (which they are abundantly making right now)

Its a fair point. They might just do that...
They could enter the next gen on the back of some pretty good profits and hit the gorund running I guess.
But I just cant see them not reacting to a PS3 cut.

thats what i was thinking. its garenteed that ps3 will drop their price by at least $50 if they want to ship 15 million.
and i thought for sure that xbox would too, but these bundles prices are definitely sending mixed signals. i guess its a cost benefit analysis that they are going with higher profit margins. but who knows, we will find out in several weeks i guess
