Why do xbox exclusives sell more than ps3 exclusives ?

it's actually kind of funny how many people forget that Viva Pinata is actually kind of a big deal on the 360, and it also does really well with the lego series (especially Indiana Jones) 

Isnt the lego series multiplat? Viva Pinata may be a big IP for xbox gamers but is it as popular and well known as the sony IPs I mentioned?
