No GT is still a bigger franchise than Halo. Both of them are huge franchises but look at it this way. Compare the marketing campaign for GT5 and Halo Reach. Then count how many times GT5 has been delayed causing dissapointed fans. Most gamers didn't even know when GT5 was releasing in North America. Now compare the metascore of both of the games. And think back which one had more competition. The only advantage GT had was it being released in holiday season but that too with plenty of competition killing the NA sales. Despite all that I'm amazed GT5 has crossed 5 million. But within 6 weeks they shipped 6.37 million. Do you think if Halo Reach was delyayed a countless amount of times got a 84 meta

That just comes off as your chosen interpretation, metascore ect don't have that much of an impact, not to mention this is the first big GT game of the gen and Reach was the second, as was a prequal .... yet it's what, 2 mill ahead? Halo is bigger than GT as of today.

I kind of doubt that. I think Halo is turning into COD with one year life span's. As of today I think there both on the same level. One GT vs one Halo doesn't really make much of a difference. I think without bundles the sales will look like this. I think your forgeting about the long term GT legs. Most people keep going on and saying GT5 is showing to have no legs. Long term legs means the kind of legs GTA 4 has. It's still selling 10-15k a week on average just on one console. Believe me by 2013 or 2014 Halo Reach and GT5 sales will be the same. And I'm still expecting another sales update for GT5, God of War 3 and BO both PS3 and 360 versions. But it doesn't matter at the end of the day they are both great games of grat franchises
