It more accurate than Media Create / Famitsu and less accurate than Chart-track (or the Nintendo tracking).

NPD just tracks 60% of the US market... 40% is estimated... just to compare Chart-track tracks 90% of UK market (this is super accurate).

NPD make adjustments month to month too.

Well NPD are known to make stealth adjustment so mayeb we shouldn't totally reply on every NPD that comes in. We all knwo that quartely report are the most accurate of course,  you can't argue with them.

Yeah... quartely report is more accurate.

My point is if NPD is right then the 360 is selling below VGC had it in AMEAA and over VGC had it in Americas.

Just to compare...

NPD (April/May/June):  1.07m in US * Americas could be something like 1.170m.
Microsoft (Shipped): 1.72m

So just 600k for EMEAA in three months?

Or NPD is wrong or EMEAA sales for 360 is a crap... I prefer believe in NPD is wrong... I know I can be wrong too.

Another time, another case... in July-Sept VGC showed 360 with near or over 1 million on shelves (after that it dropped to 700k on shelves)... so more sales than shipped could happen... but now VGC is showing 600-700k on shelves month... so the shipped is equal a sales because the stock is not changed.

Read my sentence "due to what was left of the quarter Jul-Sep"... understand? Now there nothing left of the previous quarter (600k on shelves).

Or Microsoft said it was having supply problemas last quarter?

If you want I can make the maths to you .

Edit - That's not the first time VGC proved to be more accurate than NPD... and I'm not buying the fact NPD now counts shipped 360 outside US (why not PS3 or Wii... just 360?).
