I actually think that's a mistake. I'm still not convinced Wii U is going to see near the kind of success that the Wii saw and I think MS should have stood their ground and waited. Their current console is healthy and Kinect is still selling well.

Pushing it foreward seems like a rush and considering reports that the Nextbox is going to be powerful as hell they should've waited so costs would have been lower. Either way if true I'm dissapointed in MS.

Yup, BS. Wii U, realistically, shouldn't be scaring anyone with ports and games the teen "hardcorzzzzzzzzzzz!!" already label as kiddy and hate on. IMO, it'll get the current HD ports, and then get trounced by the nextbox and PS4. I have zero faith in Nintendo's capabilities of making this system successful from a third-party perspective, but that's me.

Plus, rushing shit could end up in another round of fun hardware defects ala RROD. And MS learned their lesson I think. So well that this is the first time I type out "RROD" for this whole year.

Don’t worry if they release a RROD console then they can release a new model thus sell more and “gain” more market share :P
