This really isn`t surprising, but now it could be more clear. There could a be a few reasons why MS is doing this like feeling the new controller will be as important and successful as Wii remote; in the backstage MS might have seen that this time the 3rd pary support is serious or even that Nintendo i really doing the right things it needs to do to win the hardcore over. Or even the combination of all these things and even more aspects.
Thing is, if this is true, MS might have reached a point where they believe that Wii U will be big for casual and the core gamers or given what they know they just won`t risk having to deal with a Wii again.
