Star Wars

Really? Why?

Star wars is a big movie but its one that you dont want to discuss with girls.

And why is that? My girlfriend, while not a huge Star Wars fan, enjoys both the old trilogy and the new trilogy, and she's a major sci-fi buff (plus, she does a pretty good job as slave Leia, but that's a whole different spectrum of conversation... xD). Also a lot of female friends that I have also like the Star Wars movies.

I really don't see why girls shouldn't enjoy those kind of movies just as much as us guys do.

Well i've yet met any girl that was interested in Star Wars in my entire life.  Girls I know that have seen it felt that George Lucas cant write a damn about romance between Anika and Padme.  They just know that it's the Holy grail of geek movies.

I wouldn't call it the holy grail of geek movies, but it's one of the biggest references yes. The thing is, the girls that I know who enjoy star wars, enjoy the movies for what they are, not because it has a badly written romance story in it.

Women can also enjoy sci-fi movies just as much as men do. I don't see why some type of movies should be gender related.
