Although it annoys me that I can't vote for the best IP Nintendo has ever done (aka. Mother), it's understandable he would past it since:
1. The original is very old.
2. Our dear president Reggie didn't feel like localazing Mother 3 (which caused many people to download the game and use the english patch 
) or putting Earthbound on the Virtual Console.
