Came here to post this, til I realized I can't because of the 50-post requirement for new threads.
I'm surprised they didn't wait til the Prototype was out; even if the project was quietly cancelled already, they could've used that to try and recoup some of the costs already sunk into it, then claimed it wasn't high enough and cancelled anyway. Though I don't know how much it costs the company to put something on the shop in the first place, so I can see how it might not have been viewed as viable there either.
