I don't really see Vita/PS3/4 connectivity support as being that hard to expect. Saying that it won't be support as much as the WiiU because all PS3 owners won't have it isn't too far from saying the WiiU's controller won't be supported until it sells enough.
The PS Vita will launch sooner or about the same time as WiiU so they're on equal ground. And buying a Vita will be Cheaper than buying a WiiU for a current PS3 owner. All wee know of the WiiU's price so far is statement from Nintendo saying that it won't be cheap. It may only be slighty more expensive to get both a a Vita adn PS3. It's up to SONY to push the connectivity the connectivity of the two devices. Something that I don't think will happen much at all which is where the problem lies.
