Things change. I can definitely see some change of the guard on the handheld front, just because it seems more like Nintendos time to lose...and little other reason.

As for consoles, for the forseeable decade I think it's Microsofts time to shine, I don't think the WiiU will repeat the success of the Wii, but it won't be a Gamecube. I wouldn't be shocked to see Nintendo first again, but only just.

PS4 will be as Gamecube as PS3 us N64, they will fix the price and the "ease" of programming, but it doesn't have the killer apps of Microsoft and Nintendo and too much brand damage from the failure of PS3 give it 3rd place for me.

Sad thing for Sony is, in 1 more year, they'll have been in last place longer then they were in first place. So they'll be more known for being losers than for their success with the PSone/PS2
