Halo 3 wasn't bundled until a year and a half later.  Sony bundling is when you need to give the game away free at launch for 6 months. Motrorstorm, Uncharted, Resistance...games that don't sell etc.

 

Sony bundled new IP's just like Microsoft did and then they stopped. The only difference is the bundles were for two totally different demographics.
