The Vita is incapable of providing the same level of fidelity in streaming functionality . The Wii U method of streaming is better and more efficient than what PSV offers by virtue of the hardware being built especially for it.
So people who think PS3/Vita can do what the WiiU can, they're technically in the right, I suppose, but not feasible at all. Sony will probably build PS4 to take better advantage of streaming with Vita than PS3 is capable of but even then it won't be exactly on par with Wii U. That's not what Sony will be pushing next gen anyways.
Like i said before, PSV may have some similar functionalities to the Wii U pad but there are a number of different ways Wii U can be used that PSV is limited or lacking in.
At the end of the day it's Wii U that will be getting the better support and that's what really matters.

what are you exactly basing yor assumptions on? Sony may not even have finalised the Hardware for the Vita yet, they are possibly even looking into implementing these capabilities right as we speak.

I doubt Sony is looking to add something that won't get much support to a console that they will already be selling at a loss.
Besides, the PS3 itself is also a limiting factor.

Then tell me again how PS Vita will be doing the exact same things as the Wii U Pad was specially designed for. Tell me also what Sony will be adding Vita to bring it up to par with Wii U's functionality and why they would take the extra losses for something that will not get worthwile support.
And the Wii U console is sure to have hardware to make streaming quick and efficient to the U pad while PSV/PS3 streaming is network streaming.
Once again, PSV wasn't made to stream at the same level of the Wii U was designed specially for and there are limiting factors to it.
