Legend of Zelda. With enough familiarity you never need many potions (I average two per playthrough), but you still need to mind your cash stores because your rupee count resets every time you reset the game. I mean, as I remember? I might be wrong.

One doesn't need a ton of things to spend your money on. I just want to be able to put it somewhere. In another man's pocket? Fine. Swelling some bank account? Also fine.

You are wrong. What does reset is the EXP count in The Adventure of Link and all the common item stuff and rupees in Majora's Mask everytime you go back to the first day.

The problem talked about here is that people have way too many rupees and wished they could spend it on something, that's why a bank account isn't a real solution. There are tons of treasure chests in modern Zelda games and it's disappointing that so many of them contain something that is absolutely useless, i.e. more rupees than you'll ever need. When people complain that their wallet is full, they don't mean that they would like to store the money somewhere, rather they want to spend it.

I'd rather they think of something more interesting to put in chests.
