Eh, no game in the series has ever solved the problem of needing to spend money. Getting rid of fairies is a step in t he right direction, but needing to spend money in the first game was definitely helped along by the fact that your wallet emptied every time you reset.

What are you talking about? I said the problem is that there's not enough stuff to spend your money on, what you said is something else.

"First game" is Majora's Mask, I would assume. It just sounds weird to call it the first game though. But... I really don't get what you mean.

Legend of Zelda. With enough familiarity you never need many potions (I average two per playthrough), but you still need to mind your cash stores because your rupee count resets every time you reset the game. I mean, as I remember? I might be wrong.

One doesn't need a ton of things to spend your money on. I just want to be able to put it somewhere. In another man's pocket? Fine. Swelling some bank account? Also fine.
