Whilst the summer is always a factor, you cant ignore the YOY variances. 

Its looking poor... price cuts are absolutely essential.

Oh I definitely agree. The YOY difference is getting abysmal. There is certainly also a sense of disinterest in the video game consoles as well as handhelds. Something serious needs to happen and Im sure the big 3 are aware. I think Sony and MS however sit in a better position than Nint since they already issued a price cut.
