I Have to get a Root Canal on Tuesday, What Should I be Prepared for? ( Other than a Huge Bill)

I had 2 root canals at the same time not too long ago, along with 2 crowns. Not very painful at all. The bill is whats painful, I had no insurance not sure about you, but 5k for some dental work was like ouch! But what Procupine said is pretty spot on.
