Based off of those two (especially the latter) I've come to the conclusion it is best for me to wait until the later part of a gaming console's lifetime before making a purchase. As far as gaming goes, I need variety, and I need the platform to have good games in as many genres as possible so that I can purchase a game on a whim and not be disappointed. I also find it easier for me to appreciate the 'good' games after I've already played the 'great' games, and those usually only appear later in the system's life. Otherwise I sometimes get this feeling of dissatisfaction and have to wait two more years for the much improved sequel to fix many of the things that bothered me with the first game. Then again, all this just may be due to my poor choice of consoles to adopt early up till now ![]() |
as a rule of thumb i never get a system in its launch as they usual suck, Vita is the only 1 that im seriously thinking about getting ASAP i cant get enough of Uncharted.
