I wouldn't be surprised if it is a major push from the launch of their next console ...

Outside of pushing new technology, Sony rarely brakes new ground with their systems and it is highly likely that they will push a new user interface that is based off of something that is already popular with consoles. I wouldn't be too surprised to see the PS4 launch with or along side a Kinect/PS-Move hybrid system

Eh Sony passed on the Kinect tech years ago and they have discussed numerous times about the problems facing that type of technology. They will not include a Kinect like Camera with there machine. Also Kinect is popular???? On what grounds, the amount it sold. I'm pretty sure Sony sold more PS Eyes than MS has sold Kinects. Also name something Xbox related that MS has done thats so ground breaking. Thats how everything evolves. You don't think Nintendo didn't Build the 
NES of the Back of the Atari 2600???
