I just ordered them, at first I thought they look stupid,but, I decided to get them anyways since their free.
BTW: I got 230 coins for the new calendar year. My brother let me register his 3DS and his Pokemon Black game and I also linked my account with his 3DS. I'm 370 coins away to becoming a Platinum member for 2012.
