Ghost Squad *is* short, don't expect to get a whole lot of play time out of it. I purchased a copy for Christmas and my brother and I played it for a few hours unlocking things. It was quite a bit of fun, and considering that we both played, it was worth the $30. However, I doubt I'll take it out much now except during parties.
If you're looking for a longer on-rails game, get RE:UC, it's quite a bit more difficult than Ghost Squad and actually has some story.
Oh, and that ad is all kinds of awesome too. :)
