It did, but Ocarina of Time did that before Minish Cap did, so the uniform isn't really much here.
Got up to Jabu Jabu, but got four heart pieces first - Lon Lon Ranch, Zora's Domain torches, caught a 10-pounder fish, and used a chicken to grab a heart piece on the Zora River. I may have gotten a fifth. Let me check.
