It did go up by 4k, which isn't that horrible. However it remains bad. With Ps3 starting to decline in the market, the console outlook is pretty bad in Japan. 

@Nyanks, until you look at the WW PSP market (HW and SW)....and go PSvita couldn't get here sooner

Actually went up 2800, I can imagin in a few weeks Wii will be sub 6k. Pretty horrible imo ...

But yeah I agree, overall it's not looking healthy at all ...


I don't know why Nintendo didn't drop the price on hardware in Japan. 

Maybe saving it for christmas with Zelda, more of an impact.

But why suffer 4 months of sub 10 k sales for that? I think they should've just dropped the price. 

Because it's largely worthless either way now, even a price cut with Zelda isn't going to spur on massive sales later this year.

Wii is a dying console, I don't think Nintendo care much what it sells, after this xmas, and especially E3 2012, it'll be like the Wii doesn't even exist anymore.
