It did go up by 4k, which isn't that horrible. However it remains bad. With Ps3 starting to decline in the market, the console outlook is pretty bad in Japan. 

@Nyanks, until you look at the WW PSP market (HW and SW)....and go PSvita couldn't get here sooner

Yeah I know lol.  But in Japan it's pretty damn cool.  Vita might actually have a slight chance of winning overall in Japan over the 3DS, largely because of the late damage the PSP has been doing.
