Questions

-I have a fast car, I love working on it to make it even faster. I also love playing Need For Speed, Burnout, and watching Movies like Fast and the Furious, and Gone in 60 Seconds.

Does this mean I will go out and steal cars or street race?

Not the slightest chance. I don't want to do either, because it is not good for me, or others.

-I have multiple guns, and knives around my house. I have a PS3, a 360, and a PC. I love playing violent games. I like the feel and sensation of blowing a character away with a shot gun, of or slicing them up with a machete.

Does this mean I am going to go slice up a bunch of people? Does it mean I am going to go snipe some real people for fun?

Again, no. There is a difference between an act against a real person and a drawing, or a 3D model.

-Last question. My dad loves war history. He reads it, watches it, and talks it about it all the time.

Does this mean my father loves war? Is he going to go out and join the army so he can be part of the action?

Not at all. My dad does not get war. He respects the men that have fought for good cause, but he does not wish new wars to start. He has interest in the thought process and actions taken on the battlefield. He just loves seeing though the eyes of people in that situation. However, he himself would never even consider being in the armed forces.

The three above topics each include many illegal, unjust, or inhuman thoughts and actions. Steel, shooting, stabbing, plotting, killing, and indirectly harming anyone or anything is never good, no matter the situation. Yet we understand that even though the above teach evil, and evoke excitement and pleasure from terrible situations, they are art, or history. They are not real, and they only give us a window to a world that allows us to live our crooked fantasies. The action take or viewed in movies, books, games, or pictures is not to be repeated in real life.

Finally, whether we want to admit it or not, thoughts that are against the societal norm exist in each and every one of us. It is these thoughts that lead to great good, and great evil. Every piece of art is based on thoughts. My view is that all thoughts should be allowed the same right. I could go so far off topic, and continue for days, but the point is cartoon child porn has the same rights as every other art form or expression.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
