I really hope they don't take too long to make the story mode. People just play the story mode to unlock all the characters, that's all. I doubt anyone replayed subspace numerous times. Everyone spends their time with multiplayer, which is what the developers should really focus on. I think a cast of 50 characters (with no clones) would be perfect. If they are going to include clones again then they should just have that character as an alternate costume for another character or something like that. For example, Falco and Wolf would be alts for Fox. Also, I hope 3rd party characters are extremely limited and they only have one per franchise, maybe even one per company... |
Hey there I loved Subspace. In Melee I hated the story mode and only played it to unlock the characters and get practice. But Subspace was actually an enjoyable campaign, also co-op made it really fun. I played through several times with different friends a friend would come over, we'd Brawl for a bit but so often my friend would get bored of just fighting and ask to play campaign. I must have beaten Campaign at least three times with friends alone as they wanted to complete it with me.
What do I want from the next SmashBros
-Version unique characters, the 3DS version has like 3 characters that the WiiU version doesn't and vice versa.
- Cross compatability, you can take those exclusive characters or any character in the roster and play people on WiiU cross platform from 3DS.
- More third party characters, Mega Man is a perfect example but how about Tails and Shadow or such. I think Nintendo could win over alot of developers if they were to include their characters. It could be diplomatic!
-More Nintendo characters (Duh)
- A new GameCube controller to make gaming on WiiU feel classic as it should
-New use of the WiiU controller in single player campaign, use it to innovate and make the experiance unique from Subspace.
- 1080p HD at 60 frames a second
-The inclusion of all past characters
-Downloadable content in the future, new characters and maps availible each year until the next instalment!
-Way better online, 4-player but the introduction of 8 player and maps large enough to support 8 player
I think all the above would make the game so amazing. I would love Nintendo so much for including all this content.
