It's a shame to see all Sonic games slowly dwindle into mediocrity while Mario is still putting out quality titles. All the 'core' Sonic games like the Secret Rings on the Wii are getting average reviews or worse while Galaxy is one of the highest rated games of all time. Even the spinoffs like Mario Strikers succeeds where this can't. Give it a few years and the younger gamers won't be able to comprehend the Sonic vs. Mario rivalry.
