In Japan, Vita will almost certainly take the market (provided it gets the same 3rd party support that PSP currently enjoys). In the West it's another story : it essentially depends how the casual crowd will behave. Is their interest in games high enough to upgrade from DS to 3DS? The Xmas season will answer... If not Nintendo might not be able to win because 3DS has not enough core games scheduled.
