ND+C is NOT a failure, its the best selling 3DS title, but it is clearly moving slowly considering the price of the 3DS right now.

Secondly, it is certainly not appealing to the casual market now, hence the slow pick up of ND+C, and many other games, but we know there's a reason for this, its Apple.

The question I think is whether Sony can hang on to their original PSP marketshare, if Nintendo make a significant move back into hardcore gamer territory. This is already taking place, but as of now, we don't know how effective it will be a year from now.

Bring on Kid Icarus!!

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
