The gameplay of Super Metroid has aged like wine over the years. No need for a remake of that. Metroid II is the way to go.
But on the other hand, if they threw in a 'Hard Mode', I'd buy it in an instant. Super Metroid is held back only by its absurd easiness.
OT:
Some old SNES/Genesis games I missed back in the day like Earthbound, Contra: Hard Corps, Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team, and Wild Guns. The last-mentioned could actually make pretty good use of the 3D effects. Y'know, for those who care about that stuff.
