well it depends if they decide to do quality tablets or not..... I mean something like the iPad is a joke for newbies, fashion victims, or geeks with too much money to spend..... I mean that price tag for an iPhone with a big touch screen bad components.... bad app support for independent apps.... stuff like that.....

I mean it might take over in sales... but it doesn't mean it will take over a PC in terms of quality and functionality.... hopefully it will... if people support other brands than the mainstream one... that do low quality in a nice box with nice catch phrases in their campain...

I want something with some sort of processing power... nothing less than 2gb of ram.... 250gb storage min.... stuff like that... I mean a real PC in a tablet... not an oversized sparkly smartphone.....

I know, but surely it is enevitable that quality Tablets will come.

There is certainly demand for the kind of device me and you are wanting.

It's a question of when, in my opinion.

well yeah but look at it like that today for the price of a smartphone and/or a tablet I can have a shitty fake smartphone at 50 bucks with unlimited data/text plan and 300 min for 30 bucks max a mont... with the savings I make I can by myself a nice handheld/console and or PC with a longer life span..... and still be able to check my e-mails, go on google map, make calls, get text, go on FB.... sure I can't scan a song in a club to have the title or play angry birds while driving, or have slide show of pictures in HD.... but at the end of the day I have a better quality experience by keeping it on different devices.....

hopefully it is going to change..... but I doubt it is going to happen that soon.... unless windows phone picks up... why because when was the last time you saw dev working on an mac OS game or Linux dev....and mac doesn't look like they are looking at putting quality hardware in there non PC line.... we'll see, but the other question is, is it really the same people we are talking about.... it will happen.... in how long depends on how each category of consumers will blend together into the same market... that's more the question....
