I gotta be honest I think he's right. And I rarely ever agree with Sony PR but Nintendo showed nothing at E3 that honestly was a threat to either Sony or MS.

Now if Nintendo had come on stage showed gorgeous gameplay of online enabled games such as a Pokemon RPG with full online support and Smash Bros with matchmaking as well as 3rd party exclusive games then sure Sony and MS would start feeling the heat.

But going on stage and just showing Wii Sports type footage and New Super Mario Bros Mii along with a tech demo and a new controller with ZERO actual game announcements is far from threatening.

Don't get me wrong the Wii U may end up a serious danger to Sony and MS but as of now Nintendo showed nothing that would require them to believe they needed to rush out a new system.
