Irritated by the fact that Master Quest isn't available from the get-go, i'm going to try to push through regular mode in two weeks (allowing a day for the intermediary childhood stuff like acquiring Epona's song, etc, a day to dick around in adulthood, and a day for Biggoron's sword), then hit Link's Awakening, then come back for some punishment
