Kinect is totally computer vision control. It's very good computer vision control using structured light for depth etcetera, but has no means of physically determining motion through accelerometers or anything like that. The Move is the hybrid between the two types, it includes the motion control aspects (gyros and accelerometers) and also uses computer vision on the glowing orb.
