Mario Kart Wii was still BLAZN HOT before it's bundle with the Wii. Outstanding for Mario, indeed.

The real question is who cares? Did people really think Gran Turismo was going to outsell Mario Kart Wii?

Before Mario Kart Wii launched... I believe so, yes; people thought that GT was gonna sell more...

But that was a good 2-3 years ago. Once Mario Kart became one of Wii's killer app and Gran Turismo was pushed back x amount of years, I think people finally realized Mario Kart would be the victor saleswise.
